Building Maintenance Coordinator

Lamb County Electric Cooperative is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Building Maintenance Coordinator to help maintain our facilities, grounds, and communications tower sites. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a mechanical mindset, and enjoys a variety of responsibilities throughout the day.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of Cooperative facilities

  • Clean, wax, buff, and maintain floors

  • Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, windows, fixtures, and common areas

  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies

  • Change lighting and perform routine building upkeep

  • Raise and lower flags daily

  • Inspect and maintain communications tower sites and associated facilities

  • Identify maintenance issues and perform minor repairs when possible

  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are needed

  • Help ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and professional in appearance

  • Assist with deliveries, supplies, mail, and other support duties as needed

 

What We're Looking For

  • Self-starter who takes initiative without constant supervision
  • Mechanically inclined with basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills
  • Dependable and organized
  • Able to recognize potential problems and address them proactively
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Janitorial, maintenance, facilities, construction, farm/ranch, or mechanical experience is helpful but not required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
